In order to change your nickname there are just a couple of easy steps you have to take. Your nickname is what will appear every time you leave a comment. For example, you can use your forum nickname. Just follow the instructions below:

1. Log in by clicking on the ‘login’ link in the upper right-hand corner. Fill in the fields with your private.com user ID and password. Note: you must be a member to log in to the Private Community.

2. Once you are logged in, click on the ‘profile’ link in the upper right-hand corner.

3. In the ‘nickname’ field, fill in the name that you would like to appear when you leave a comment (e.g. ‘number one fan’).

4. Click on ‘update profile’. After your profile is updated, click on the ‘Display name publicly as’ dropdown menu and choose the nickname you have created. Click ‘update profile’ again.

5. Click on ‘view site’ to go back to the blog.
